Default Weight loss ET/MPH improvements

As a general rule what kind of ET/MPH improvement, 1/8th mile can you expect by losing 100lbs?

Example, my car runs solid 5.60 @ 121 and its currently 3000lbs with me in it on the starting line.

We always use .10 for every 100, but there are so many factors involved it's all a guestimate anyway....sprung weight, unsprung, how well tuned is the combo, suspension/motor....

.

The Wallace is pretty damn accurate for most combo's.
It doesn't seem very good for a blown alcohol combo, but my N2O was right on.

It will give you a idea of what its capable of picking up, but that does not mean you drop the weight and presto its that much faster.

X's 2^^^ took 275lbs off of my brothers 63 nova and it picked up 1.5 tenths in the 1/4. I think every car will be different depending on where you take the weight from.

It all depends on your current power level and ET, cars running in low 6's on 1/4 losing 90 lbs. will see 1/10 gain in ET.
