His name has already been mentioned in this thread.

I went to CFE website they don't sell 23* heads...
What valve size and CSA did they flow 400 through. Was the head clamped onto the bench?

Personally a 2.180+ valve, port around 280cc, rolled to 21.5 degrees, would be knocking on 400 cfm.

I had that RR RHS with a 2.180 and 260cc, rolled to 22 degrees, knocking on 380+.

Both raised runners.

Chad I see you being fair to the guy here, but he wants std valve train on his 23* If he goes this dirrection and has to buy new valve train would he not be better to step up from the 23* head at the same time? I dont think he can buy too big of a head with spraying a 450 inch engine.

I totally agree. Main reason I offer an 18 now. I just can't in good conscious make a guy buy a $1400 rocker kit for the offset 23 heads. Now, class rules and such are different. As I've said before, the RHS (.150 pedestal) has as much cross section and the 245 AFR that requires said kit. That is about as good as it gets (RHS), IMO, for standard valve train.

LMAO! I just posted what I know was done by a very reputable porter on here.
I was just informing to the OP that All Pro are the best, that what is says asshat.
Oh did you find those CFE 23* heads yet?

Post #32 has his name mentioned that does the All Pro heads that go 410cfm.
I even gave you a hint, a direct quote from his website.

Funny how no one denies what I have said...

Well are you going to tell us dumbass's which guy to call off that list in post 32??? I guess it's a good thing that my Allpro's where designed by one of the guys listed in post 32.

I didn't have the $$$$ at the time for the CFEs so I went with the Allpros but I was kicking myself in the ass when BUTCH KEMP put his set of CFE 23*s up for sale a week later. That was one bad SOB that Chris Uratchko built for Butch.

I understand saying step to 18degree and less but you totally miss that it cost more to do that besides the heads. I know this may sound like chump change for some but some people have laid out more than a year for less money. I have seen some excellent deals on ebay for 18degree stuff and if you were starting from scratch you could get closer to the cost but there is no getting around the headers. Yes it makes more power but cost comes into play. For the cost of the 18degree and lesser heads you could just do turbo and make more power.
I agree but for the price of headers your spending the same money on the rest for the wrong parts, thats money waisted.

I use the same headers on my 23* heads as my 18* heads, Port plates $75.00 I bought 18* headers to start with....

Some times you got to draw a line in the sand, dump money in heads that are wrong, or sit out and get what you need and be money a head in the long run. With a 450" short Block its time to do it with the right head. OR sit out and bolt your stuff on a smaller short block till your can.

Yup, don't blame me, he sent me the email with everything he could possibly do to those heads & said that they would flow a max. of 410cfm. for about $6800. So talk to him about it.
