Default Moroso alternator / vacuum pump mtg kit?

Moroso #63823 for a SBF. Has anyone installed this kit. Pro's and Con's. I'm at the point in my build were I need to mount -- a belt driven fuel pump, a vacuum pump, and an alternator.

Pictures would be appreciated.

Just a heads up --- the Moroso #63823 bracket WILL NOT fit the new style CSR electric water pump (will only fit the old style). I'm going to send it all back and go with the Moroso pump #63585 and their bracket for this pump #63822. When you use this vacuum pump / Alternator bracket --- you have to use the enhanced vacuum pump and a 93mm alternator which has a 15mm shaft. Get your pullies from Jones Racing 2.375 dia alt, 5" pulley for crank.

I have a similar part on one of my sbc engines and it is great as long as you can use a super mini alternator. The std size or mini will not fit on the sbc model. If you need a high amp (over 100A) super mini denso style alternator there are used ones sometimes available used from the circle track guys. They currently use the super mini size alternators boosted to 150A but they have to turn them 20,000rpm to keep them cool enough to maintain that kind of output. If you have room and turbo piping is not in the way the Morose mount is a nice piece.

Heres the new Moroso electric water pump --- I'm still waiting for the bracket. I had to by a 93mm alternator. You have to run the right pullys to get it to charge at idle. I bought a Jones racing 5" crank pully (CS-3102-C-B-5") and a 2.375 altrnator pully with a 15mm hole (AL-3105-A-A-2.375"). It's funny that Moroso knows this and so does Powermaster --- but they don't offer the correct pullys?????

Here are the parts,

Moroso:

Water pump #63585
Drive kit #63853
Bracket #63822
Vacuum Pump #22840

You would think that these parts would line up --- wrong.

I had to cut .390 off of the stand off's and use a .070 washer to
get everything to line up..

Moroso should have made the stand off's 2.680" instead of 3.00"

After the mods to the stand off's everything
lined up perfect.
