Default cutting roof off

how many shops think it,s ok to cut the roof off a new car to put a cage in. seems pretty drastic to me.

Mine had a 10point already in. Had to cut the roof to add the funny car cage and redo the rear bars.

Just think of it like you are going to chop a Top-brace everything so it doesn't move (in all planes), and find the Seams-it's seems more drastic than it is-

What's the big deal? It's sheetmetal... it all blue-glues back together.
If you're taking your car to a shop for a cage, and the shop can't handle welding the roof back on, you should probably find a different shop to fabricate and weld your roll cage.
