Default Ford Funny Car engine Specs

I'm a Ford fan but really didn't pay attention much to Funny Cars over the years because everyone ran a version of the Hemi. So heard Fords been playing with the Ford Funny cars engine and I was wondering what the spec are? Everytime I do a google search all that comes up is Force stuff. I'm a Ford fan but not a Force fan. So what is the engine in the Ford Funny cars these days?

Thanks,

JFR makes a Chrysler Hemi and paints it blue, that's a Ford Hemi.

That's EXACTLY why I was seeking your obvious expertise.

Tell us how JFR reinvented the HEMI while working around the moratorium on engine development that was around WAY before Ford even thought about putting their NAME on the HEMI.

So please, enlighten us with some engineering info.

Or.

Well... You know

The BOSS500 is based on the 426 Hemi.....bore spacings and such are "written in stone" by the Gods at Glendora and they are the same on his motors as they are on anyone else running a nitro hemi. (Read spec engine) I believe I heard that the mains have a Ford p/n on them so that way it "qualifies" as a Ford fuel hemi. I don't understand it, but that's the way is was explained to me.

The heads are redesigned and also have Ford p/n on them.

Apparently you cannot give any info as you don't know any.

The generic bullshit dribbling out of your mouth ain't impressing anybody.

If you can't expound on your answers when questioned you shouldn't call somebody you don't know "shitforbrains"... unless of course you're a flaming democrat

it's a damn HEMI! i have looked at it up close. My gear drive, mag drive, oil pump, and valve covers will bolt right on his motor. Since when did the FORD hemi have the mag and oil pump 45degrees from the upper right to lower left side in line ? With all the money Force gets from FORD, wouldn't you think it would be a smart thing to call it a FORD motor! They do produce their own heads and many components in the motors so technically he can call it whatever he wants.
