Steve, all I'm trying to say is people do come to these forums and ask for advice. what works for one guy may not work for the next. that's why questions are asked. if everyone had the ability to put engines together, build chassis, etc. there would be no need for people in these fields. and sometimes all it takes is a phonecall or something else and things can get skewed on the job that was being performed.

I see and agree but he said that HIS Chassis builder, who happens to be Kris Klink, told him to take the wheelbars off...You would think he saw the car leave and knew that it was unloading the chassis and that was why his 60 foot times have suffered. He wasnt after money or machine work or chassis work....he gave him advice on setting up the car, he built.... His motivation was to help with the setup of the car.... not advice on a forum or anything else.

Ed my reply wasn't about how your 427 runs or its performance,, but yet was stating a point that you don't need the wheelie bars ...I've seen the video's of it launching it does launch straight ,,but they are not needed.. You can make a g-body hook in a frozen mud puddle with it's suspension.. my junk "slow406" sbc hook's consistant 1.40's all day..

Hello gentlemen and ladies. I was thinking of coming to race with you guys this year. Please escuse the name. I used to work for them and now I work for Stainless Works. I sent Monty an email to see if he would change it for me. Anyway thinking of racing the outlaw class with my camaro. I think it is legal for the class. It will just be alittle heavy for the class.

Right now we are in Streetboro. We just relocated here two weeks ago. We are looking for a house near Chagrin falls/ Twinsburg area. As for the car it is a 25.5 chassis done by Dan Neumen/ Tuned by Hank Hill. Motor is a 525 Kris Nelson pcs. I run an ATI Superglide and a single fogger done by Speedtech. The Lightest I can get the car right now is 3340. The outlaw class is a no wheelie bar class correct.
