Default Spark Plugs for Alcohol

I just switched to Alcohol and I am looking for help on a spark plug and gap recomondation. I currently run a Champion C61YC. I have 13.5:1 compression and run a Dominator. Any help would be appriciated.

I like NGK-10s .030 gap. Go 2 steps colder then where your at possibly more if the temp goes up. Colder is better.

try at the full cold direction of the spectrum

you want to LEAVE as much heat IN the chamber as possible.

I do not have much faith in the selection from champion....

try autolite or ngk.

Start with NGK-8 or -9
NGK-10 are very cold and they will foul up very easy.

NGK R5671A-9 here, methanol SBC with 13.70:1 comp and a Ron's Toilet. They are cheap and seem to last OK, plus the heat range is spot on for my motor.

Same thing everybody else has said, NGK-8 on motor, and NGK-9 if your going to spray it with alky. I have ran -7s in an 18 degree 421 SBC with 15.5 compression on alky, ran great, and started very easily.

Thanks a bunch, Sounds like I will be switching to NGK's. Will try both 8 and 9's with a .025 and .030 gap

Many thanks!

C'mon hot weather!
