Default G BODY WHEELS

Is it possible to put a 15x10 dbl bead lock wheel with a 28x10.5 tire on a 84' cutlass with notched frame? If so any idea on the back spacing.

With a stock width rear, you'll need 4.5 to 5" backspacing and it will work just fine.

should be able to fit it in there no problem. Had a 29.5 10.5w on 15x10 under malibu full notch though. I actually set it up now with 15x10 double beadlock and 275 radial with a 3.5 backspace but this will be on a trz fab 9 narrowed.

G body needs a 15x10 with 6" backspacing and a stock width rear.

Kevin is right,

I ran a Weld alumastar 2.0 double bead lock, stock length rear, 15x10 with a 6in BS. I ran a 315 and it tucked under the fender great. But there was just the inner sliver of metal on the frame though. An lots of hammer tuning so the 28x10 will fit great.

Hey G Body guys let do a little hijack here. How about a 30 by 9 slick any problems with a tall tire? We are running a stock rear and no notching. Have only had the car (81 Bu) since Christmas and haven't had time to even get it up on the hoist yet.

A 315 radial is almost 30" tall, but it does not grow as much as a slick does. The 315 is really close to the front and rear edges of the fender on my 78 cutlass so you may have to work on those areas to give the slick enough room to grow.
