I forgot what the actual weights are but it was 52% front 48 rear surprising not to bad. That's with no lead in rear, when the track gets slick I have 120 lbs I bolt in.

^^^^^ Thank you. We are proud of how it turned out. Was going to try and do some ADRL racing with it but just can't get the car light enough. Also the new FEE'S and reduced purse turned us off. We have decided that we will be running 1/4 mile with it this year. Running with the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association. Great group of folks and some good running cars. We will probably hit a couple of TOPMA races too. We still want to run a little 1/8th mile but our main focus will be 1/4 mile.

Man you worrie way to much about weight bias.....

Mine is about 58% and still carries the wheels some. Darrens is about the same, DR P was about the same...

It's all about how you applie the power and how much TQ you make.
With 4-links and big tires and diesel TQ you shouldent worrie about this in your shorter WB truck.

Personally i'd rather not lift the front end much, but you'll learn...

Dont you have a chassis guy around you? im sure that he would help.

I guess every car/truck is different. With my truck it needs to do a pretty nice wheelie to hook we tried many different settings and tried to get it to drive out flat and it spins the tires or we gotta pull so much power its slow to the 60'. Maybe its because of the 118 WB but it hooks the best with the front wheels up around 12 inches. I'm sure it would be a different story with big tires. The picture in my avatar is a typical good launch.

yea i bet that with the 10" tire the changes for getting a good hook would change things quite a bit. For us too much hook will screw with the 60ft clocks and raise ET, so having a lower lift of the front end helped.

But the power you have and it's application is more imortant to the chassis than anything.

I'd like to do a wheely like that once or twice though....

Well kinda both. It is all MBR stuff. Some of it has been around for a long time though. We ran it in our funny car for years. The block was bought in 1999 (CN Billet). The heads and valve covers are about 3 years old. We just ordered one of his latest greatest deals last week. Should be ready in about 3 to 4 weeks.

wow.. what a engineering masterpiece and for you to run 5.90's after only a few times to the track is mindboggling. I admire your skills and hope to see you kicking some ass in 2012.
