Of course pro jacks but for $3300 I bought mine from Race Jacks 865-980-7733 More heavy duty than pro jacks and they pick up my heavy truck like nothing. They are better quality IMO the only thing I didn't like they don't come Chrome plated only powder coated but for only $1900 I got over it pretty quick.

I went with a known product reputation of quality & safety that is most widely used...ProJacks. A friend of mine just ordered his & were shipped the following day. Different height lift options are available as well as air/hydraulic or electric/hydraulic.

There are some copies out there, good quality. A father son team here in Brownsburg makes a nice jack set...

Same here I guess we just like to save money on a heavier product. Normal jacks don't lift heavy cars well at all.

.

Or for the real cheap guys that use a jack & stands, $200 total, which 99% already own.
I just can not justify $3300, I've never understood how many times I see guys get the pro-jacks out
and set up and then do absolutely nothing to the car that needed them???

When we first got our new car we tried running two races without ProJacks...NEVER AGAIN. Futzing around with a floor jack & jack stands was ridiculous with this type of car. We check things under the car between every pass, so trying to service the car without them is not nearly as safe, a hassle, much more time consuming, etc. Well worth the $3K investment and easily made back if you ever sell the car. If you have ever used them, you would never go back to jacks, boards, jack stands, etc.

Several of my buddies have them, that's what I meant by they go through the work of setting them up after every pass,
and never do anything that required it, at least not when I was with helping out??
The clutch is through the top, they never check or change anything under the car,
normal maintenance does not require the tires off the ground except initial warm up.
Again, I am cheap, but do not hesitate to spend what needs to be spent, if I think it's needed,
and yes they would be easier to warm up and actually make an adjustment to the car, but not a necessity??

Maybe we should be crawling under there more often during an event, and we probably would if I bought them??
It might just save my butt one of these days!!
I'm just on a live below our means kick after seeing so many of my friends & neighbors in trouble lately??
Guys that are not only losing their cars, but their truck, trailer, and even their house.
So again it's too expensive, besides I'm saving up for a RF receiver before nhra makes that required to race also???

Understood...coughing up $3K when you need other things moves the jack priority down the list. Family & home come first...racing is a nice to have. I am just thankful we are fortunate to do what we have.
