I agree ... and for all the Haters the SCSN was a good example of how they can be ran together. Mel and his group have done a good job in my opinion. There was some good talent at that race and the only combo that didn't get in the 5's was the roots blower.

There was a very good mix at SCSN...the only thing that I personally feel needs a little adjustment is the nitrous class. Mel lowered the weights but honestly I know of very very few cars that can get down that low in weight so on paper it looks good but reality is a different story. We would only have to weigh 2,250 and there's no way we can get close to that low even with a 130 lb driver and I don't personally know of anyone out West than can scale in that low even with their new "lightweight" cars. I don't know what the answer is but we still had fun.

Mike, I don't think the rules are perfect by any means. What I was trying to convey is that Mel has the ball rolling in the right direction. If they, NHRA, wanted to they could tweek the rules to include all power adders. Good job in Vegas. There was a bunch of good cars running this year.

Only 6.20 227. Finally got all chassis issues fixed now. Will be much faster and quicker with the new blowers.

All I'm sure I always felt your car had way more in it than it ever showed.

I really like that track and disappointed NMCA didn't go back there for 2012.

Yeah it was a tough crowd at SCSN for sure. We didn't run what we normally do for some reason...can't put a finger on it yet. The number 16 slot was something like a 6.17 and P32 was a 6.43. There were 54 ProStreet cars show up so a lot of good cars didn't make the field. We did put Hoosier's on after a three runs of shake on the Goodyears. Ran a 1.0 60' & went right down the track after throwing some on that had 17 runs on them.

Personally i dont see a single f3, or f4 running 5.80's
think John still has the only F4 out there, probably wrong. Don't know of many people who currently have big procharged engines even attempting to run Pro Street/Pro Mod.

How often did you make it out this year, John?
how'd the Camaro turn out, by the way?

Didn't get out much this year. We were behind farming all year. Camaro turned out good. Got to do a few more things to it. <embed width="600" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullscreen="true" allowNetworking="all" wmode="transparent" src="http://static.photobucket.com/player.swf" flashvars="file=http%3A%2F%2Fvid435.photobucket.co m%2Falbums%2Fqq74%2Fts2814%2Fphotobucket-3579-1320694104439.mp4">

Leave the nitrous cars alone.

Leave the blower cars alone.

400 CI Max on Turbo cars.

Then adjust weights accordingly.
