I like the current rules that were put together for Ultra Street. Not crazy about a cap, but fully agree something will need to be put into place from the start, like weight adjustments if certain combos past a point say somewhere in the .20 to .30 range. I'd just hate to see it turn into a 1/8 mile index class down the road. Last weekend we had a range of cars from .20's to 60's. Just got to figure out how fast you want the class to go really.
I agree with Marc, I have no interest at all in running a 1/8 mile index class. With the rules we ran with at VMP you can count me in.

yup.....I feel the same way.

No cap is the way to go.

I think the record in Ultimate Street is 5.11.......I think thats plenty of space between the U/S cars and X275.

it says no ram air for turbos/supercharges. what if i put a cobra grill on my front bumper??? it would resrict it alot. 80mm non-intercooled blow thru. i really like this class thats the only thing i dont fit. if not no big deal but im running some kind of 275 class this coming year for sure

If this turned into a 16 car field do you guys think a 5.70 car would make the cut?

I dont have a horse in this race so maybe not my place to put the comment out there, but why not just limit the jet on BBC/BBM/BBF. Say limited to single plate only 82 jet. I'm sure there are some off the pace BBC, etc spray combo's in x275 now that would be more competitve in this. JMO, I have a slow SBF so doesnt matter much to me.

Exactly and its not that easy to just take all the nitrous off a nitrous car and then run something like this on motor ????
