Default Camshaft Selection

I'm looking for some help picking out a cam for my 406. It was setup for carb and I was trying to sell it but since it's not going anywhere I'm putting it in this winter. The car its going into is setup for EFI and I'm going to keep it that way.

406 SBC
Dart Pro-1 230cc heads with light port work
11.6:1 compression

I'm looking for a hydraulic roller cam, intake manifold will either be a Holley stealth ram opened up to 1206, or a Victor EFI not sure which one I'm going with yet.

Thanks,

-Jim

Default Re: Camshaft Selection

I have had great results with this cam in a 383 stroker that was a late model LT-1 that was EFI:

296/302 @.000"
234/242 @.050"
153/157 @.200"
.532"/.548" w/1.5 rockers
112 LSA
108 ICL

I am converting a LT-1 to the Victor E EFI intake right now as well as useing the Vicor E EFI intake for my 79' Camaro, both of these engine builds are SR combo's tho.
