Perhaps the only time you should be laughing is pulling away from the timeslip booth with one that says "win" in your lane, against one of these "keystone kops" in the other lane.

All you critics can't read past the first sentence because you get all pissy because you do the same stupid shit. IF you rechecked your tires when you are 3 cars back from the burnout box, THEN I'd say you were doing your due diligence.
And your paying attetion to what other racers are doing instead of manning your own ship!! That is way too much focus on shit that shouldn't matter to you! Thats the first rule in racing....don't worry about what others are doing, just do your thing! You have some nerve calling anybody an Idiot!!! No matter how you word it, you come off as the idiot for being concerned on how another racer run his/her own operation......I'm sure if their were aybody paying that much attention to you, that they could find a few things they would do differently themselves! Unless your perfect! Good Day.

One should always be prepared. You never know, while sitting in the staging lanes, of when you'll actually run.

i READ the whole dam thing. For the simple fact last year i was sitting in line when a ricer pulled up behind me checked tire pressure, then came over and started talking to me. I asked him what was his tire pressure , looked at me funny then proceeded to check again. Habit i guess , slow car, street tires ,was using one of those pressure gauges that pops out. Do what works for you habit, necessity. LETS GO DRAG RACING. i think this guy that started this thread has a chip on his shoulder

I've sat in staging for 20 min. And in half that time the tire that had the sun on it went up 4 lbs. so yeah check your tires it keeps you safe and consistent .

im new to the bullet here, and just now got into a car that needed drag radials and had over 300hp lol. what are some tips on air pressure and checking? i seen an above post say something about using the tire gauges that push out? is that not ok? or do i need a digital one? just asking questions to know things. id rather ask questions and then know, than to act like i know something and appear stupid.

Staging lanes are right in front of where we pit.
We have time to observe others because we are in different classes.

I do plenty of idiotic things and admit it as soon as i do one.
