A 315 radial is a much bigger tire than what I'm using an mine is spread out on a 12inch rim an has very minimal growth, not much differant than what a radial would have. The Radial crowd is using a larger tire with a wider footprint if I'm correct, of course I've been wrong before an know little about radial racing. ......More wisdom in one Mr. Z post than in all ozone eater's put together.

the tire does not need prestine prep. it just needs to be alittle bit more tacky and not so slick. i would go into detail but the post nazis will criticize instead of learn. find me in the lanes and say hi.
