Default typical pushrod length on 9.5 factory block windsor?

i know they vary, but what are most guys seeing for pushrod length on factory 351 blocks with aftermarket heads? mine came out to 8.000 and i am having rockers back off. i am told 8.200 to 8.250 is about normal? we are rechecking my length today and see what happens.

everyones rockers , and heads can vary on this length, put the roller in the middle of valve at 1/2 lift and you gonna be fine , not unusual to use a 8.300"

96 block, zero deck, Dart 170 Pro1 with about .035 off the deck, .041 head gasket, 1.800 installed height, Scorpion 1.72 rockers, 8.35" with the mid lift method...that is, getting the rocker 90* to the valve at mid lift, regardless of where the roller tip is on the valve.
You really need to figure the proper length for your specific combination.
