that is one of the three, you can find out for sure what it is from the number off the tag on the side of the tranny...it will start with 2LP or something to that effect, take that number and google it,it will tell ya exactly what ya have....the 5R55W and 5R55S take basically the same parts, just one is a different gear ratio than the other...the 5R55N has a different solenoid pack than the S and W transmission, and probably a few other parts that will not interchange, but I am not completley sure what all is different.....My dad just got through building a 5R55S in an 03 Mercury Mountaineer 4.6L,in fact we just pulled it out of the shop yesterday,it worked beautiful....it has alot of hard parts destroyed in it,it cost alot to fix it,they arent cheap when you go to buying hard parts for them..... Hope this helps...Brian

by your pics i dont see a tag on the tranny, maybe im just not seeing it? If it doesnt have one,you may have to wait till ya take it apart and inspect the valvebody and solenoid pack to see what ya have for sure.....The fluid track is different in the solenoid pack in the 5R55N than it is the 5R55W and 5R55S.....our ATSG book shows the differences in them right in it....again,I hope this helps....Brian
