Default My English Bulldog torn ACL... Doc says $3000 or put to sleep...WTF!

Had krunch finally checked up for an XRAY and doc says torn ACL(back right leg) $3000 to fix or put to sleep... he was 85lbs for awhile but is sense pushing 100lbs (6 years old)... like most bulldogs he is stubborn as fuck and limps around and is getting heavy prolly from lack of exercise. he keeps pushing himself to jump up on the couch for his favorite sleeping spot! maybe doc is scammin, lying, full of shit... dunno!

frustrated as phuck!

My olde english bulldog tore his in his back right leg. He had surgery back in March. Cost me 1300.00, the first 2 weeks after surgery were hell , with stitches, pain patch, and not being able to get around to well but he is good as new now. You would never know he had surgery if he didn't have a scar. He will be 4 in July. It seemed like alot at the time but I am so glad I did it.

Me either, but some humans, I wouldn't think twice.

Isn't it 15-20K for a human being? I wouldn't think its much easier on a dog.
