I wish Jim Curtis had the money to buy it. He was a big part of TRP when Clemson owned it. I bet if you were to ask him his thoughts of the Ken Edgar you would get an ear full. Kens only reason to own TRP at this point is to say that he owns it and a place to hang out. Fuck it Ken sell it and go hang out at the yacht club.

Jim Curtis works his ass off at that track. I love it when he has a microphone in one hand and a vht sprayer in the other. Jim does the job of at least 3 people.

It seems he has to because Ken Edger doesn't give him the money to make the place better, like jonesy said if you don't have the money to do it right get the f###out and let someone do it right.Imagine what what Jim could do if he had a nice budget to work with.

Lets be real here COOK, Bob Motz and fireworks is why spectators flock to the track on July 3rd, everything else is just filler. Your casual spectator has no clue about UMTR, RENEGADE RACING ASSOCIATION or any other group. Before Bob it was PRO-STOCK and fireworks on 7/3.

This year NORWALK rescheduled a race on top of TRP's 7/3 race so it will be interesting to see how TRP'S big night plays out.

UMTR is filler???.... Sorry, but your renegade ass wishes you were half as big there group.
FIREWORKS....LOL, THANKS just spit my mt dew out my nose and all over my droid....ya that's why they come....wtf?
I guess we will see how much the UMTR guys are missed.....hopefully your renegades can pick up the slack....and fill the void.

who is the casual spectator here??? When is the last time you raced a july 3 rd race?

Ya that's what I thought... I know I have raced the last 4....
As far what norwalk does, don't really think that is going to be a big factor, not many of those racers run nhra divisionals, Jonesy is the of only who comes to mind...

Sorry COOK your wrong, we don't wish to be big like the UMTR nor do we compete against them, we do our thing - they do thier thing.

I raced it 4 years ago, made it down to 7 cars in PRO, we ran 1/8 mile due to rain, then fog rolled in [Nice FAIL on trying to discredit me]

COOK I've missed this event maybe 4 times my entire life and pretty much every year the crowd doesn't move until the fireworks are over, pay attention.
