Do we control Drunk Drivers who have repeat records now? Hell no!

Even if dopers only fall asleep, how many will they hurt? How many lives will they ruin?
These idiots don't care about themselves or even their own families, much less you, me, my Wife or Daughters.

I hope to God they never allow it to be legalized. If we do, this Country is too far gone and the liberal, mamby pamby dolts have sealed our fates by being to far PC, in the quest of dollars. This final act would prove to me that no one cares about anyone any more. (our own, yes, but that's it!).

Without a good test method, Im against legalizing...
What's wrong with the same field sobriety test that's used for drunk drivers? If it works for them it will work for weed.

Well once again I see you following me around posting after me. So if I have lost my mind what does that say for you, for wanting to try and conversate with me?

So you are going to tell me alcohol consumption didn't go up after prohibition was ended? Please say no so everyone can see who has lost their mind.

I guess the stoners might show up at a shooting range for some fun, but I thnk they are way more likely to be headed to the snack aisle at the local store.....

those arguing for weed legalization because "we can make rope and shirts and.....out of it", should do a little more research.

Hemp is not weed.

Weed should not be legalized, I'm with OC on this, usage will skyrocket.

What stoned guy would want to go to the shooting range when he could be sitting at home watching Star trek and munching on potato chips?

One of Heinlein's most profound observations in The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, is the number of people who are willing to leverage the power of government, backed, of course, by threat of lethal force, to stop other people from doing "icky" things at the first chance they get. Whether it's sodomy or weed, some people just can't get their minds around the Founders' idea of liberty.

*Disclaimer* I dont smoke weed

OPEN usage may skyrocket but don't be naive. There is an entire world of people out there that put on a suit and tie every day and manage your money, do your medical work, prepare your taxes, fix your plumbing, run your city, pull your ass over for speeding, etc that smoke that shit when no ones looking in the privacy of their own home. Usage wont skyrocket. It may increase for a while because of the minority that would be curious but people that want to smoke already do.

I DONT SMOKE THE STUFF but a lot more people do than most think. Its just like prohibition. They made it illegal and instantly there was a black market for it. Weed in its pure form and smoked moderately is pretty much harmless. Legalize it, let the gubment make revenue off of it. If Weed should be illegal so should booze.

I'm sure that when the founding fathers were sitting around writing the constitution, ass sex and getting high were their main concerns.

Now would you want to be at the range sharpening your skills and the guy in the next window high as giraffe pussy on marijuana? Discuss.
MJ would fall under the same restrictions as Alcohol. Can you get loaded and go to the range? Didn't think so.
Any more what if's?

No responsible firearm owner should be handling a weapon while under the influence of any substance. So honestly it doesn't make a difference to me. They are a danger high or drunk.
Treed.
