Default Best oil pan for a C5/C6 Corvette for Street/Strip?

What's the best wet sump oil pan option for a C5/C6 Corvette for street, drag racing and mile run use?

I've read that the "batwing" pan is preferred over the newer LS2/LS3 pan?

TIA

What type of 60 ft times do you expect? Regardless of what oe pan you choose most engine builders are going to probably want to see dry sump. Weve had many mid 1.3 60 fts with out any issues but some of the fast auto guys see low 1.3x and high 1.2x and have had oil starvation issues.

Hey Marky Mark-I'm lucky to get a 1.48 and It will run 9.0-9.1.

That sounds about right, since I sold my batwing pan last year and bought a C6 pan because it was supposed to be better

I was told the C6 pan was a better drag race pan, maybe the C5 is a better road race pan?

I will say it's easier to work around since it doesn't have wings.

I heard the same thing and got a C6 pan. I concur, that it's TONS easier to work around than the winged pan.

Without any proven experience other then where the batwing pan will fail at,(for me it was mid to high 1.2's) I would think the C6 pan would hold out a little longer, but again, I never experimented on that. Once the C5 failed, it was onto a dry sump.
