Default Trans fluid?

What would be the best trans fluid to run in a powerglide that's behind a NA BBC that's in a heavy car? Synthetic or synthetic blend, weight, brand? Input please...

Thanks!

I like it and the transmissions that use it look good during winter maintenance.

Back when I could afford to run the Redline fluid, that was the same thing my transmission guy told me. And I believe his exact words were "whatever you are doing, dont change a thing."

I don't understand?

You can afford to race and wreck your trans parts with cheap oil but can't afford good fluid? This doesn't add up.

I cant afford to race now. The car is parked and at this point I dont foresee it hitting the track at all this year.

It currently has B&M Trick shift in it. I dont know how good it is, but it was ~free~ so the price was right.
