Red primer looks red in all lights too. My flame red Dodge Ram does look orange at night under those purple street lights.

Do you have anymore pics of both cars? At first I was gonna paint my 69 victory red but I think I'm liking the viper red even more now. Seeing some good pics of both would help a lot!

Torch red depending on which one you go with can get orangey...I just did my car a color called absolutely red i found it on a 2011 toyota yaris.. its bright red. i hate the orange reds too..

Good luck with the red. Someone said it covered great.... Not anytime I sprayed it. I hat spraying red. It is a pain it the ass. Base can become grainy as well from all the coats. Be sure u tack after each coat.

SPI RED

use a white sealer under your reds and they will cover great and it will make the red pop.

dont use cheap ass bases as you will have to lay extra coats and it just plain sucks ass.

gm code 72 dynasty looks good more blue and 58 plymouth i shot a 6 bmw this color pick it out of PPG deck came back as that. i do not have code on it they are both blue reds . on the orange side is PPG bright and bold HOT RED shot my gto many years ago very bright in the sun and flips alot. it very $$ like all reds are but hot red is all pure mixing bank red tin . torch . viper .and porsche red all were colors i shot over the years on hot rods /drag cars . i tried to mix it up abit so not every one in town had the same red.. yep some red do not cover .you can tin your primer /sealer
