Did you put it in a jig to weld them on? If not how did you get them on there?

They were tig welded on by my chassis builder. Not sure of the method he used to locate them as I was not there. He's one of the best chassis guys I have met. Randy Jewell at RJ ProFab in Holley, NY.

We use a JIG but it's not needed, we have one and it speeds the process up, but if you have the housing out and on a bench it takes about 4 hours to measure cut the old brackets off and weld the new ones on. it's fairly simple the hardest part is cutting the old brackets off!

Are the LCA brackets welded on plus bolted?

I didn't weld them. I considered it and it couldn't be any easier to do since they sit in there perfectly, if somebody wanted to weld them. But with the way they are designed, it isn't necessary to weld them. They contour up and around the axle tube and fit very nicely, so there is no way they are coming off without ripping the factory control arm mount off with it and even then, that is welded in with the brace. So I decided to keep the option of putting a standard control arm back in there if there was ever a need to do so and just bolted them in.

Thanks for the pics Doug, the new Team Z mounts look good.

Thanks to Dave for chiming in regarding getting these installed / fabbed on a nice 8.8.

He does excellent work, he narrowed my rear axle for me, braced it and welded on all my brackets.

That's a pretty good Idea for a JIG Dominic, we just made one that picks up several of the rear cover bolts, But I like your idea simple and clean!
