I carry a Smith & Wesson 745. I really want to trade it for something smaller sometime. Perhaps something along the lines of a glock model 22.

how do you like the mag release on it?

This thread was the one I was fixing to start. I bought a XD 45 and its just too damn heavy and bulky to carry. I bought a shoulder holster but even in loose fitting clothes you can still see the butt of the XD. I am going to the gun show this weekend and see what I can find.

for pocket theres a couple you could go with.

kahr pm9 or pm40
walter pps in 9 is a little bit bigger
kel-tec makes p3at which is tinny and is in 380 an is cheapest

for mid size carry
hk p2000sk is nice and is said to shoot a tad better then the xd's
xd sub compact
glock
sig p239
para warthog 9
walther p99 compact.
springfield emp 9

the kahr pm9 and hk p2000sk .357 sig will be my next handguns.after them i will get a 45 probley.

Ruger makes the super blackhawk, s&w make the model 29 and 629. you better be a pretty big guy to hide one of those. I carry a super redhawk in 454. and It's pretty hard to conceal.

Well Id personally go with glock 22, its light and bloody accurate. But what do I know were not allowed to carry, and need multiple licences just to go to the range up here.
S.Rancing are there any full auto ranges near clearwater? I would love to get my fill next time I come down.
