I never had diaper until a buddy of mine broke a rod at the 1/8th mile, he then went sideways and thru the wall.
Crazy to think a broken motor caused a accident tot he point the car had to be front clipped and all new body panels (at the cost of a 170 catch all).
Would you guys that dont want a diaper feel different if you were beside the buddy of mine and he crashed into your car?
Its just a safety issue, look at it like anything else, just another piece of the puzzle.
Dont let safety stop you from racing, Id bet that someday you will appreciate the rule.

True Street here. As long as my car is ready in time. It's not even close right now, but we've got some time still.

And 10.5-57, you need to bring that car over so we can all check it out, that thing looks badass.

It was just a post to get Ned riled up! Having a little fun, I have too much time on my hands right now waiting on parts. I am definately going to try and make some of the races if not them all. The only downfall for me is the Fri thing. I just hired another guy today so hopefully I'll be able to get out of work around lunch time to make it over there. Any word on what Muncie is doing, possibly the Sat. after Indy so I could make it a 2 for 1 trip. Im sorry to hear about Dave.

This is one of the most jag off remarks ive ever read!Listen I have seen cars with wbars wreck because of the bars for instance the bars bend ,break or be adjusted to where they rear steer the car!

I have never seen a car wreck because it had a fukn diaper on it!
Its called respect for the driver and his family in the other lane. You dumb fucks that dont have blankets on your junk ass cars what are you gonna do when your motor gives and you paralize the guy next to you that has taken the correct safety measures and you fukn ruin his life.Do you have 50k - 100k to pay for the car you wrecked in the other lane.I doubt it if your bitchn about a blanket..Any of you that still dont understand this just buy your 12 pack of pabst and bring your toothless old lady and come get drunk in the stands....
Im beggining to change my stance on abortion cause of some of you.wtf rant over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When did I say I didnt run a diaper? How about when you lift a cyl head and you spray water and oil all over the lane next to you because of the gay ass bullhorns youve got on your car? I bet youve never seen a car wreck because it didnt have bars on it either have you? My statement was a joke, read all the posts idiot and go get someone to tune your car because you cant. This isnt Ned you talking to now!!
By the way what makes it OK if you peralize the guy next to you if you dont or do have a diaper, not saying you shouldnt run one and it isnt one more thing to help prevent an accident, but its just that an accident. We all know the dangers in this sport, and yes wheelie bars are safety devices.

What now your going to make fun of my bull horns.lol We going to start mother jokes too?Post some pics of your car or better yet bring it to the track and show me how great of a tuner you are.As far as my car goes it qualified 19 in Valdosta agianst 65 of the baddest mother fuckers in the world and i think i had the smallest motor if not one of the smallest there. So when you decide to down the performance of someones new combo you better be preppared to back it up with your car!
Bars are a tunning device not a safety device ,if you need bars to get your car safely down the track then you really dont know shit.

I was at Valdosta and qualified 3rd, set ET and MPH record for my combo also. I lost in the semis by .0018. I dont down people cars or their work unless they want to attack/start stuff with me. I know far to well how much time and effort it takes to make cars work and that is why I dont attack or start stuff with people about their cars. I wonder why cars are denied in tech to make a run down the track unless they have wheelie bars then?(NHRA funny cars etc.)

I was at Valdosta too. I beat a Pro Mod first round!! Sorry, just wanted to get into the pissin match. Just got off the phone with Kurt and the Pro Mod rules are getting modified so we should have them posted tomorrow. It should level the playing field a bunch. So Josh get ready to post more!! We also discussed this issue of engine diapers. He has received multiple complaints today from racers about having to put a diaper on their car. He said that most of the complaints were from the Indy Index cars running in the 11 and 12 second brackets. He basically said that if racers don't want to support the class because of a safety issue then it may be better to drop it and put the effort into another class. Dudes, it's 170 bucks to have a blast racing in a heads up environment. Don't lose the opportunity because of stubborness to put a diaper on the car.

Crazy....we all bitched about not having a heads up Org. to race around here, now we have something, and people don't want to update their cars !!! makes no sence.
