Hey Guys i have seen and heard great things with this "Blue Devil engine and coolant system stop leak" ... Everyone says nothing but good things about it but iam still some what skeptical... Now i have a situation where i can give it a shot...

But iam still not sure i want to... The only thing that is making me want to use it is from what i heard on here and plus its $55 ... and iam a big beleiver in you get what u pay for...

Has anyone had any experice with Blue devil or even anything similar or better??

Any input would be appreciated!!

I put it in my wifes Lincoln a little over a year ago. It was pouring water out of the both exhaust and skipping and wouldn't hardly run. It would run hot in just a few minutes. I poured the blue devil in and within 10 minutes it quit skipping and after sitting idling in 100 degree weather the car never got above normal. She has been driving it ever since with no more problems.

WOW!! I had a stop leak put in the AC system on a truck. I had it charged and it was gone in 3 days. Put the sealer in and it worked from then till I sold it a couple years later. The last I heard it was still working. It was called red angel, I think. I know its a different situation, just thought I would share.

Awsome thx for the input guys!!

As far as the car .. its my buddys F-150 i think its a 00' with a 4.6 in it... It has only 70,000 miles the truck overheated slightly and was running like crap..after it sat for a few weeks it ran perfect again.. then one day it got a lil warm and started running like crap again.... The water in his overflow can is bubbling and he has steam coming out his tail pipes...so something is blown inthere.. so before we tear it apart to fix it we were thinking about giving the blue devil a shot...

Do you guys know the difference between the Blue devil pour N Go' and the Mechanic approved stuff?? I know the Pour N go is suppose to be immediate and the mechanic approved takes 2hrs to set... But other than seating time is there a difference??

Thx again
Tony

Oh and the pour N go is $35 and the mechanic approved is $55 and is a larger bottle... That pour N' go seems kinda sketchy...

I had a friend use the Blue Devil sealant in a 2001 Chrysler with a 2.7 liter. Blown head gasket(s). The car went five months before re-blowing the head gasket(s).

A friend of mine had an Isuzu with a blown head gasket. His mechanic put that blue devil in it and it lasted all of a week. I guess with different circumstances you'll get different results. Regardless, it's just a band aid for the problem not a fix.
