Are you going to allow us to use MII conversion, so we don't kill ourselves with a steering box! hehe.

Does the MII bolt into the stock location?

Shock towers are removed and Instead of bolting a crossmember in they are welded in place.

but yes, the rack & Pinion bolts to the crossmember retaining stock location for the front tires. The Mustang II front end IS considered a stock style front end.

9. Front Chassis/Suspension:
a. Stock front frame rails and suspension required.
b. Aftermarket control arms and bushings allowed as long as they bolt in stock locations.
c. Rack and pinion steering allowed.
d. Aftermarket tubular control arms, coil over kits, or OEM front strut retrofits are permitted. But must be a direct bolt on, no welding modifications permitted.
e. Aftermarket bolt in sub-frame allowed. Must bolt in unaltered stock OEM mounting locations.

It sounds like you fit in...

I still think it's to bad you guys are not giving the regular Milan Drag Radial cars a shot to race competitively. As it's been said by quiet a few people, stock suspension radials ain't going to keep up with 34 x 16's. Especially in 1/8th mile.

To tell you the truth I wouldn't worry about the big tires. No buddy even knows if any will even show up. I think it should be something that could be looked at if the class get's over run by them but until it happens I wouldn't get upset or not come over it.

I actually do want to make it to the April race. It will be a good test and tune for my car. But if it's all cars running 4.50's or better on 34's then I probably won't make it back. It's a long drive when you know you don't even have a chance before you get there.

I don't want to bad mouth the program because I think any heads up program is great! Don't get me wrong, it's just that I know a lot of the radial cars around here wont stand a chance to be competetive.

Ford introduced this style front end in 1974. It was produced in the Mustang II until 1978. That's where the frontend got it's name(Mustang II). This is installed in a 1965 Ranchero. So, yes... I have a stock style front suspension. It has rack & Pinion.

The classes were broke up into a stock suspension radial and outlaw radial classes.

Like I said. I have to look these over real well and suggest some changes if needed.
