Are the valves in the same location as the hi-port or afr 225 head that sixty feet is talking about?

Mabe an approved head list is in order like X/S, as I do not believe the hi-port headed motor has a chance against a C3 headed motor with everything else being equal....

A hi-port has a conventional inline valve arrangement

I don't care if we have to race against non conventional , or even canted valve combos , just not at the same weightbreaks!... Adam , as well as all the other guys in this class spent alot of money building these motors to fit the class , surely they can give us just a little help for having supported the class. We have a knife at a gun fight , but it was a knife fight up until now , and guns are expensive.

The class has required diapers and/or containment pans for 2 years already.

I agree with you... maybe a weight adder for non-inline heads is in order? I have been running 23* heads against the non-inline and canted headed guys for 2 years now, but that was a choice I made to be able to cross over to X/S. As I see it, these rules are the most structured, and thought out 275 rules yet! I hope NMCA sticks to there guns on them....

Too much room for a class built car to run away with it... I think NMCA see's that and is preparing themselves for it.

John, I feel that in 2 years time (after all the outlaw radial guys make the move to X275) the class will be out of controll, and it will be too late to pull the reign's in. Hopefully I am wrong, but with the payouts increasing in X275 and decreasing for ODR, I think it is inevitable .

And if I would have scaled the class back to a Ysi F1C etc I would have been burned at the stake or left hung out to dry. I was screwed either way I went.
