These are pics from early last year after the
frame was notched and springs moved inward. We used
afco sliders and made our own set of knock off cal-tracs.
And we also made an anti-roll bar for it so it don't twist.
All the work other than engine and trans have been done
by my son Jordan. It now has the 434 and is capable of running
5.20's if we can just get the suspension tuned for the horsepower.

This year we switched to a 18* 434 making a lot more
horsepower and have had a lot of trouble getting it to
leave with any power at all. So far we have only managed
5.60's with a 1.35 60 leaving real soft off the hit and trapping
125mph. We just had factory junk shocks on it this year and
now have double adjustables on it and have added weight
to the rear. We redone the engine bay by using motor plates
instead of mounts. We have also made some headers that
exit the front. The worse part is we are trying to get it to
work on 26 x 8.5's for a class that we have in our area that
is growing by leaps and bounds at our local track. The mini
tubbing only consisted of cutting the original tubs out and
adding a two in wide piece of metal strip to widen them.
We also added the back exit bars over the winter to have
the cage certified.

The new stance with the little shoes

Recent video of it with 26 x 8.5's

Video of it first time out this year on 29.5's

I meant to say in this post that we had factory junk shocks
on it last year not this year when it had the 388 in it lol.

It has 18*434 p/g trans with pro brake, narrowed 8.8
rear end with moser 33 spine axles and spool. 4.30
gears with 29.5's and 373 gears with the 26 x 8.5's.
mid plate and front plate, had the homemade cal-tracs
on it last year but now have made some lift type traction/
ladder bars in house. The rear was narrowed 1" per side
and run 15 x 10 with 6.5bs wheels. Last year the 388
made roughly 600 + sprayed 200 now the 434 makes
810 and have only sprayed about 175 spinning like a
bitch.

Thanks, my son Jordan does all of his own fab
work and he made these headers. They were his first set
of headers he ever made.

Thanks, right now we are having big trouble with the 8.5's
but we have made some weight adjustments this week and
we will see if we made any progress because its sucks limiting
the power we have to get down the track.

Are those the fender well headers turned around? Kind of looks like it. If they are it works out pretty good.

No they started out as 18* stahl fenderwell headers but
we took them apart and bought some J bends and U bends
and kind of went from there. They are stepped from 1 7/8
to 2 1/8 primarys. My son made them up. His first set
he has made and then we had them ceramic coated.
