Default 68 chevelle suspension

I was going to back half my car but I really don't want to cut it up, my question is if I put all TRZ suspension in the front and back will I be able to get it to hook up on a 10" tire? I'm thinking the motor will make a little over 1000 hp without the n2o. Also can you post up some pictures of your suspension so I can see how everything looks actually installed. Thanks

we run 1.28 60ft with stock suspension on a 315 dragradial at 3700#.. i don't have pics i'm old school and still have 35mm camera lol. it's just boxed rear control arms with new bushings bolt in a.r.b and afco d.a shocks.. the front is afco's stantuff springs and after market lower control arms.. i have seen many stock chevelle go on the rear bumper with 1000hp and stock suspension. you may have a little learning curve but you will have that with ladder bar....

One of TRZ's test cars has been 1.180 to the 60ft on 275 radials, no other company can even come close to that! With that being said, it is not just the suspension that makes the car work. Like everything in racing, the entire combination must work together. You need good shocks, the right spring rates, the proper instant center location, the right converter, a good tune in the progressive nitrous controller, etc etc. By the time you buy all of that stuff you will still be cheaper off than a proper backhalf.

Don't cut that car up. TRZ can get you put in the right direction. Everything on my car is TRZ and it's been 1.28 60' and 5.09@143 on a 275 radial @ 3615lbs. But like Kevin said in the above post, everything else in your combo has to work together.

Besides.....slick tire phuckers have to park way out in the skeeter weeds.

TRZ is the only way to go. I have a customer with a 69 chevelle,i have a little more tunning to do,they wanted 9.80's and our best is 9.74 and they are happy as hell. I will get them in the 60's.

Uh yeah... Barry, you have one sweet lookin... and runnin ride!! Makes me want to roll my Nova off a cliff.

Back to the topic... Mike, don't cut it up... All TRZ up front on my rig, minitubbed... first hit with new big motor...and entirely new front and rear suspension.... I went 1.35 to 60foot with the wheels 18" in the air... at #3435lbs...

Mike and Todd are very knowledgeable and are always there to help with tuning tips. Product is one thing, which they definitely have... but the customer support is right there too.

Oh, you don't need no stinkin Nitrous! Keep it N/A.

Lemme know if want that Magnum Callies...

Cheers.

Thanks! That's always been one of my biggest deals. The car has to look the part as well as run its ass off.

Thanks guys! As far as my suspension goes.....I have TRZ pro upper and lower arms along with their rack, billet steering arms and bump steer kit. I use AFCO double adjustable shocks and right now I'm using QA1 conical springs in the front until this winter when it'll get converted over to a true coil spring using TRZ's cups. The rear is a TRZ fabbed 9 inch housing for an A-body using their upper and lower bars. I also use AFCO double adjustable coil overs in the rear. All this stuff is absolutely TOP NOTCH quality. I can't say enough about the guys at TRZ Motorsports. This car would never make it down the track on radials until I converted it back over to stock style. Between my chassis guy and Mike and Todd on the phone, I haven't had any problems and last weekend I got the car to 1.27 60'. I also broke it shortly after that and TRZ was willing to get me parts ASAP to get it fixed. Customer Service is second to none!

Here's what happened on Saturday. TRZ Motorsports suspension and 275's with a little power......
