The big debate going on in my head is which do I want to run Radials or Slicks? A little about my car 1st, it’s a mini tub outlaw S/S car, Dbl adj. rear coilovers, single adj. front coilovers, Glide w/ brake, BBF nitrous, 3.55 gear, with me in it weighs about 3300 lbs. I have 12” wheels and can fit a 29/10.5W w/o problems. I really don’t want to put HP #’s out there. The tracks I will run at on a 1 – 10 scale, the best would be a 8, but the worst would be a 3 to 4 on a good night(this is the closest to me) as far as track prep goes. I want to run some grudge races, yet I want to run some of the S/S races (28/10.5 non W) but most of all I want to go fast as possible and of course like everyone else I want to do it consistently! So I guess my question behind this post is…. Why should I run this tire or why should I NOT run the other? Or better yet, whats the pros and cons of running the given tire?
