Default DEER BLIND/DEER STAND PICS

We just got onto a 3,000acre piece and i need some ideas on deer stands. Im looking for a ground blind pics. I have some ideas in my head, but im looking for a few ideas.

im wanting atleast a 4x8 blind so i can stretch out in it if i need to nap in it. I had a 6ft one in the past but it wasnt mine and it didnt feel big enough.

west TX btw.

cant wait to hit the turkeys, hogs, and bird hunts

Here is a few pics of a 4x8 I built last year (breaks down into 6 pieces). I elevated mine but it would make a nice ground blind. Lots of room inside!

It's for personal use. I wanted to get my son involved and figured it would be more enjoyable for him if he was comfortable.

Anymore pics. I drew something out and its looking pretty good on paper.

2x4 walls
3/4" decking on floor
4x4's as skids for bottom
7/16 decking for walls
plexi glass windoes

I sat in a chair that I have measure the height of my eyes and went down 4 inches and up 4 inches so i can have multiple height people in it. Im also thinking about using a roll on bed liner material on the floor and walls to make it a little more echo free. Maybe even using a cheap/old carpet on the floor. I talked with a buddy of mine and looked at cabelas and around the internet to see the diference in blinds and there are all kinds of diferent setups. Im def going 4x8 floor and 6foot with a 4" raised roof and a 2" drop.

The trees out in west tx are on 8ft at max so i want this to be level with most of them so it wont stand out.

LOL there won't be any blow overs here with 3,000 pound concrete shoes. It's rock solid up in the stands. Just got to finish the wraps and windows this weekend and there all three ready. These will really help on those colder later season hunts!!
