Butch - We write the rules for the classes, not the sponsors. I am sorry if you don't like them. We don't need these derogatory comments when we have a sponsor supporting this class since it started. That is the same weight penalty as our Outlaw 10.5.

Honestly...i cant see making run after run when i need to hope someone else aborts a pass or need to win on a hole-shot...
No big deal. everyone has an opinion...thats mine.
Glad you know 2 weeks ahead of time that im not going.
By the way.....you still didnt answer my question??? How have what you call "sissy sticks" ruined the class.???please answer.
You clearely have more knowledge than me when it comes to heads up N/A racing and I probably will never accomplish the things that you have accomplished in racing--but I know one thing that I have learned in life and that is if you give your word it is your word.............................................. ...... If I'm not mistaken you stated right here on this forum that if milan allowed "sissy sticks" you would race every race. Good, bad or indifferent, those were your words.

It is beyond dispute that the CURRENT SB combos that run at Milan dont have enough for the top running BB cars. But what happens when someone builds a purpose built SB combo for the class? Its My opinion that a good SBX headed SB will crush the competition.

If you truely feal that there needs to be some change for the SB combo, perhaps you should continue to race the rest of this season so you will be heard and respected for change of the next season. Why should anyone listen to what you have to say if you wont stick it out? I know if I was running things at Milan I would look at you as the guy that dont get his way and just runs off to race somewhere else. No disrespect, but pretty much a voice that dont count.

As far as Wheelie bars AKA sissy sticks ruining the class--what the hell do I know? I do know this: when A/M comes up to the line to run the spectators run to the consession stands. I think they have a hard time distinguishing the A/M cars between the Open Comp cars.

Whether the SB's still need a break or not I am not going to comment on but don't be hating on the conventional BB's just because they got a much deserved break.

Even with a 150# break for conventional heads, you wont see one run away with the class when unconventional BB's with unlimited cubes that make an easy 200hp+ more are only 150lbs heavier. I think this was a move in the right direction to bring at least the BB's closer together and to bring out a few more conventional BBs out that were sitting on the sidelines previously.

As a note, I will now have to weigh exactly the same as I do at OSCA.

I am going to do my best to make it out to one of the remaining races this season although the last two conflict with the YB Nationals and Shakedown at ETown.

Used. The old rods out of our Reher Morrison 565. We put an aluminum rod in it so we can spray it like it owes us money.
