What about Big Block Mopars? Do they get the break too?

Is this opening up a can?

Well I think it definitely needs to be clearly defined.... very clearly. IMHO it needs to include the mopars.

OK, now I understand the Mufflers Optional rule....

Its to drown out the sound of the bickering in the pits.

Honestly, I didnt want to see ANY rule changes. However, I believe it will attract more racers (new and ones that will return) and bring some of the current guys forward.

My question is: Who's going to police this shit? Is it the honor system, followed by protests? This might get ugly.....hopefully not, but could.

its a back-half car with a 565 short deck motor that wouldnt be competitve with those full tube chassis cars that run low 7's and those turbo cars that are capable of running 6's.... but it would be a good race for barney or that red clifford car......

Wow,Wow,Wow, did I say WOW? I mean I thought Christmas in July was just a saying, but WOW! Stock type suspension DOES NOT even get the "industry standard" 50 lbs break at Milan but "conventional Head BBC's" get an "unconventional" weight break of 150 lbs and a manual transmission gets an unprecedented weight penalty of 50 lbs??????

I understand you have been around cars and street racing for a long time,.....probably longer than i have.
I dont think you realize the nature of heads up N/A racing though.
I listened to who I believe is the best small tire heads-up racer ever when he said. "if you think you have a very good car and combination from front to back and have it sorted out....and the rules are screwed up....then stay home" go race elsewhere.
Honestly...i cant see making run after run when i need to hope someone else aborts a pass or need to win on a hole-shot...
No big deal. everyone has an opinion...thats mine.
Glad you know 2 weeks ahead of time that im not going.
By the way.....you still didnt answer my question??? How have what you call "sissy sticks" ruined the class.???please answer.

Interesting development. This should help the car count. We will plan
to come out next season for sure.

Nope. I think i have the best working car in the class on a incremental stand point. Dont want to argue. You post your name and back up your data and i will.
I can put a tenth on the point leading car in the class and defending champion to the 60' clock and still get out run e.t. something's not right.

And how is that? Is there several BBC conventional headed cars about to show? Is this a qualified 16 car field? Does that mean the few small block guys that were showing up will now become non qualifiers? Yes, interesting development..........
