Default brodix spread port heads ?

I just got a motor and it has brodix 10x spread port heads. I have 2 questions if anybody can help. What is the advantages of spread ports, and where can i get a set of headers to fit em in a 67 camaro , for a reasonable price ?????

Keeping the heat out of the the middle cylinders. You should be able to find headers from most of the companies.

I used Lemons, so did a friend of mine. Not cheap, but they are worth it. Certainly other companies out there that also make them.

with those heads, if your going to spray the chit out of it, you can put a water fitting right between the middle exh ports just below the port to remove heat that chevy's have a hot spot there.

i used hedman huslers on mine. two inch primaries, 3.5" collectors. really nice headers and once on the car they fit great! but i am not going to lie, they were tough to get on. lol take engine loose jack it up al that good jazz. that was drivers side. passenger side fit great!

yea i talked to hedman they have em ,thats what im probably going with if i cant find a used set. they not cheep ether . and yes i am planing on spraying it probably 200 are so , have to see what it runs first . thanks for advice

I'm new here, but I just wanted to chime in... I have a set of Hedman Hustlers FOR SALE.. 1-7/8" x 3 1/2" that fit a spread port Brodix in an early camaro.. I had them on my 70 Nova, so its the same header you need. I also have the heads for sale as well.. They are a -8, spread port ported by Andy Jensen and flow 280+.. I know not stellar, but for a 194cc head, its pretty decent.. Let me know if interested in either or both
