Default lost 60 foot & tire shake???

Any ideas?? I lost a few tenths in the 1/8 and lost time on my 60 foot. The car is also shaking the tires violently. can it be the converter?

i have found old tyres can do that, loose the grip, and no matter what u do, nothing fixes it until new tyres fitted..

We had that when the tire pressure was too low. More like chattering the tires, left hash marks on the track.

Same problem with mine, granted my car is a lot slower...Chased my tail for traction issues and turns out it was the trans. Lost 3 or 4 tenths out of nowhere and it would shake the radials.

not trying to be a dick but, ati converters are for bracket racers. i broke 4 of those fuckers before i learned to buy good shit. it would feel like the tire shaking but the converter was junk.

What did you find?

Those of you that said it was the trans, what was the problem found to be the cause?
