Default JW Transmissions....

Are their torque converters any good? I'm looking at a 3800 "Sportsman" series converter.

Yes they are . I have been using JW stuff for over 20 years and the only problem I ever had is when I tried a different brand in my truck with the Bruno . You can bet your ass it has a custom billet steel converter in it now built by John Winter's senior himself .

I had a 10" soft hit in my car with a soft hit break and loved it. Not hard on parts and VERY consistant at 6.50 1/8 mile. A little slow on the pro tree though.
