The Pinto made a great drag car. Cheap to purchase, lightweight and plenty of room for a V-8.

Old friend of mine bought a beat-up Pinto for pennies, put in a tired beat-up smoking 302 in it with a decent tranny and went out and ran low 11's his first time out. Those things are so light you can run 11's, 10's with about any motor. was a cool car.
