We recently met with Jim Curtis of Thompson Raceway Park to discuss adding an '8.90 heads-up index class' to run at the track and the

Denn it's a mustang,if he patred it out he wouldn't get shit for it.Those body styles are a dime a dozen.I'm thinkin he's short on cash at this time and cant get it done,or he's going to show up unanounced and TRY to take every down.I myself am trying to get the funds together so i can come n play only time will tell.

A suggestion for you guys that are thinking of running in this class and don't think your fast enough. If you want a class like this to race in the future, come out and support it now even if your a second off. You can always step up next year or later in the season. If it fails now it will be harder to try and bring back later.

Excellent point!!! Make a strong showing right off and establish the class. Then you have something to build towards. And remember this ain't super gas, we aren't going to be running a string of 8.901s. Times are going to be all over the ballpark and anyone can win in any particular round.

I'll be there and anybody who doesn't think they can run the number, there may be enough for a second class. This was brought up at the first thread. Would be cool to get so many cars that another class would be formed.

Lets keep the ball rolling and spread the word to other web sites that you might visit.

I'll try to keep this list current as more people post up. Blaze is right it will make an awesome photo with all these cars in the lanes, maybe we can get 'johnboy' (photographer) to stage it for us.

We have a couple of announcements brewing on the burner, details forthcoming.

Tom,

Nice job on talking to Jim and getting this class to run there.I haven't seen Butch much since the cold weather got here.Maybe Chris can talk him into running the class.I bet with some NOS Butch's car would be pretty close to those times. He just needs some seat time in the car only had it to the track once with the big motor in it.

Later Mark.
