Default Helio Pig hunting:

I saw this on another site last week. Looks like a blast to me, they could sell that seat:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiHmYsyVniE

I wonder if he's using an AR-15 or something like that ? The guy is a pretty good shot. Some of those pigs are big for a .223 but it got the job done. Need a semi-auto .243 varment gun for the job.

An AR with a Red-Dot would be a blast on that hunt.

PTR- .243 with a Red dot .....then I need to find somewhere to have that much fun with it.

Wow some good piloting and shooting! Wonder if they plan on picking up all that meat. I'd like to see someone who needs it fed with it.

Those hogs are considered a nusiance and not idgeneous right?

Too bad I'm afraid of heights. That looks like a blast. Some of them really make a mess of the land when they barrel roll though....

Yes feral pigs...destroy crops.

I would thank some ground crew picked them up At least I hope so. Good sausage and bacon maybe some better pieces too.

We don't have any around here, but I understand they're really rough on the land. Some of them make craters when they're shot at a full tilt run too...

I'd also hope someone went out and picked some of them up. Can you imagine the buzzards and vultures in those parts??

They could make some serious money from people to charter these heli hunts.

I think I found my calling in life, anybody got a couple hundred thousand they want to lend me for a helicopter???

Yes the feral hogs are a nusiance. They destroy crops and pasture. We can not kill anough of them. Last year they would hit my hay patch almost nightly. I would check it before I went to bed (around 10 pm) and before I went to work (around 5:30 am) and they would be there between those times. I did get lucky one night and saw them out there around 9:30 pm. I hit two of them, but it was a far shot with a spot light, so I did not drop them. A couple days later I saw buzzards, so I know I killed at least one.

They tore up my patch so bad that I could nto cut probably 2 acres. Then I have to go back over the winter and disc it smooth.

They also will get into my calf creep feeders and eat the feed I put out for my calves. I set up a big trap around the feeder with a trip wire and one night we caught over 25 hogs. here are some pics after we got them in the trailer.

Wow.... so they are nocturnal ? Do you ever see them in the day time. 25 is amazing, what did you do with them and did you reset the trap and get more later?

I'd set up a night stand and do some shooting
