nhra teams up with orsca
This is what is going on to this point from orsca wedsite
NHRA ORSCA Year One Are putting together a deal to run 4 events These are NHRA events with Walley trophies They are NHRA EVENTS Stand alone event with orsca racing heads up classes year one will do the car show and auto cross nhra will have many things in the shows for the fans to be active with ORSCA will provide the baddest heads up racing the planet has ever known The classes will be PRO MOD Outlaw 10.5 Limited Street EZ STREET Modified Street The dragraces will be ran on ORSCA rules NHRA will add some type of heads up index style racing classes to these events The races are scheduled to happen at Indy Columbus Ohio Atlanta and Gainsville The dates for atlanta are the month of June 11 - 13th The date for Indy is the month of August 6- 8 The Dates for Columbus is the Month of September 10th -12th The dates for Gainsville is in the Month of November 5th - 7th The dates are from NHRA not ORSCA or Year one or any of our sponsors As many more Details come out we will be making announcements letting you guys know the information may be the end of orsca?.?.

not sure if it is a good thing........I always liked ORSCA and similar smaller racevenues because it was NOT NHRA

I would cash in if it were me as well...take that money alllll day long. I don't see how it can't be a good thing to try and get something organized with..gulp..nhra. Hopefully it works out and the purses will be respectable for the racers
