Yes that valve size is used often w/that bore size. But....what head are we talking about. This is the more important variable to speek of here. Are they spread port heads? If conventional heads, i'm gonna say thats way to big. Unless your using a one-off casting w/moved valve centers.
Most always with that bore size, i personally use 2.300". On something higher effort, maybe a 2.325" at most.

It'll work in a Eddy Victor head no problem, ..

there's more to picking a valve size then just bore size, .. what's the rest of the combination????

Well right now ur already doing a set for me as we speak, but I have bought another new set from the west coast(killer deal) u also done with new ti valves (2.400 ) and ex.

The problem is I already ordered pistons (quick16's) for a 4.500 bore. So I was just thinking about using the other heads first with the ti valves if it would work. Could always get more pistons later!

Really, who sold off their set on the West Coast?, ..

Yea it'll work, .. put the heads on the bare block and look through the bottom at the intake valve location in relationship to the bore.
