You would have to somehow get the engine to turn 14,000 rpm somehow to make the hp plus it would cost more money than any of us has got to make any 4 cylinder NA competitive.

SBC SBF 2 stages looks to be appealing ar BB NO2.

BBC- 15,000.00 vs N/A 4cyl- 50,000.00+ Neither is cheap, but I can do the 15 alot easier than 50!

Hey Darren I build you a 4 cylinder that can make that kind of power just call me we will talk! As for 8.5 when will guys learn to give up beating a dead horse. Ever since 8.5 started its been nothing but headache and hartache crying and argueing this shit is suppose to be fun at least some of the time right? Some times we need to step back and look at the big picture it is either learn to evolve with whats happening or fade out some never learn that. I will get bashed but 275 radial is where its at you can go to many differrent tracks on any given weekend and race for 1000.00 with no car count worries.

Gerald that would be great if there were any 275 classes up north but there isnt. Its hard enough to find heads up races period without at least traveling 3hrs, Maybe I should move back to TN so Ill be closer to where the heads up stuff has taken off.

Me myself thinks if handled right by the right track plus staff 8.5 could be back on track. I'd personally like the 28 10.5 which is the equivalent of the 275, hey Gerald you remeber when you tried to tell everybody that the 275 and the MH 26 8.5 are the near the same size, lol funny shit. Don't get your panties in a bunch becuase that's history. But I will have to agree with you on car count worries think my girl Kelly been off her meds!

I mean don't know about the rest of you but this is how it breaks down for me.

$100....entry fee
$40......membership fee
$160....fuel for truck
$75......fuel for car
$25......food plus other useless nonsense that I can't think of?

$400????

I mean 10 cars at $100 plus the 40
that's $1400 why at 10 cars would'nt the payout be garrenteed??
I mean last year the car count was'nt but 6-7 on good days so how are we going to double the car count?

My dad is building a pretty neat 4 banger right now for a dirt track car. It has a 460 ford type head and has a 460 bore. It uses a chevy bellhousing. It is definitely a different motor for sure.
