My old motor (.060 over 400SBC) was 10.75 to 1 ran on pump gas when it wasn't being squeezed. With a 200 shot (on 110 octane) and a progressive on 275 radials in a 3200 lb stock suspension Camaro it went 5.81 @ 119.

Drove that motor for years on the street.

3200 pound nova, 406 with 225 big shot. nos tune pulling out 6 degrees of timing. Runs 6.70's on motor and a 6.00- 6.04 @ 116 mph. 1.30 sixty with rear tires.
My internals are forged but Im still using a gm block ( splayed and filled). Patriot 225 heads and a tight ptc nitrous converter. If you have a good block you can easily go high 5's.
Video of my turd in signature running 6.0

compression is around 13.1. my motor likes 36 degrees of total timing on motor and im using a retard box to pull 6 degrees when nitrous is activated. As far as my jetting, I could probably pick up some by square jetting But my plugs look good when tuning by nos specs.

i have a friend guy that talks to a guy name monte i think he is from nos he thinks its best to retard the time n to like 25degrees and spray more nitrous then fuel i think that will detnate and blow da motor up but i like your tune up i only have 11.5 to 1 compression but im going to give your tune up a try and hope fully it works for what do you think bout ur tune up n my car
