Default Nicest Camaro at SCSN? Mike Saiki Pics

This car was at Street Car Super Nats and I think it was nicest Camaro on the property. Every detail was super clean and it ran like mo'fo.

I was even shocked to learn what little those guys are allowed to run in Limited Street. Steve Johnson was telling me that the car has a 522 with conventional heads and the nitrous kit is only his Widow Maker plate with -4AN line feeding it and a tiny little ole 4150 style carb. It ran in the 8.40s.

It would be neat to see the thing run in NMCA Xtreme Street with a dominator and a punisher nitrous system. That would hurt some feelings.

Mikes car is super nice, and he is a pretty cool cat also. Alot nicer guy than he try's to act like. I did my best to put him on the trailer but learned the hard way it take ALOT of relay to keep those nitrous solenoids open, they opened and closed 49 times on the run next to him. He is top notch and has always built bitchen cars and been fast. you dont get to be class champ as many times as him with junk. congrats on the win Mike , I'm coming for you next year buddy

Paulie,
That big solenoid you were using isn't as bad as you might think ?? Maybe the relay we getting weak or maybe the WOT switch ??? Give a shout if you want to better discuss it. Great job as well to you.. SJ

This the big block car. We have 2 camaros that are almost identical. The other is the small block that was in Chevy High Performance magazine.

It's our single stage, single nitrous ( I-S Trash Can) and single fuel solenoid plate system based on the Victor Jr. coss bar style plate. This is really a high HP plate system we build for plate limited classes needing max HP from a plate as well as the best distribution of a plate... Hope this helps... SJ
