congrats to johnny mac and crew, kim and little kim mapes, on your 09 NMRA season and making the racepages cover for jan 2010 issue. you guys gave them hell this year in super street outlaw and made a pretty good run at the championship!

i remember seeing this car years ago when Tim Lyons had it then and was running the car in outlaw at Brainard Optimus and it dont look like it has changed a bit. car has always been a bad looking unit! congrats on the cover man!

Actually the car has gone through alot of changes. I hit the wall in 2006 and Motorcity Motorsports has basically reworked the entire car. They put a new Skinny Kid Cobra bumper and fenders, I was able to find a painter to match the original paint scheme.
The original chassis that Tim Bradham did at TBRC is about the only thing left untoched from when I bought the car. I run into Tim Lyons at the NMRA races and he tells me how glad of what we have been able to progress with the car.

Yes he did, the chassis responds to any change we make. He is currently building me a new CM Fab rearend housing and ladder bars.
I would highly recommend him to build a SSO car or anything else.

Congrats on the cover. Your car always seems to leave straighter than any other car I've seen in the class.
