Here a few more of my 69 Camaro project. The car is on the ground and the motor arrived at the chassis shop last Friday.

And as of this last Tuesday she's finally in!!!!

Still have a lot of other work to do but we are getting so much closer.

They put in custom mini tubs and cut out alot of additional weight. I didnt do the mini tubs because of tire size, i did it cause they look cool  and knock some weight off.

Did mini tubs
Made custom gas filler neck
Fuel pump access door
Got rid of t top well
Got rid of spare tire well
Got ride of rear seat indents
Installed the Burkart Chute and put in the chute handle
And alot of small stuff i just didnt have time to do.

Can ya say 3000lbs race weight with driver

Check it out !!!!

Then it was off to Everlast Auto Interiors to get custom carpet for the race car. The tubs came out so nice that we didnt want to hide them with the factory sail panels. So Everlast has an idea to make the panels custom and also removeable.

Check out the oem looking foot pad!

Now the motor gets pulled and then its off to paint.

And yes the stickers are going back on the car.

Hope to get some passes in the middle of october. 8s here i come!
Looka really clean.

Theo and crew have been working non stop for the last couple weeks. All of the plumbing for the car, electrical, exhaust, dry sump lines and tank, etc... has been completed. We are coming down the home stretch and are hoping to start the car for the first time next week. There a few minor things to do like mounting the coils, checking fluids, etc... The final big piece of the puzzle are the twin radiators we had built and they shipped earlier this week. Once they are mounted and plumbed we should be ready to go. If we can get a base MAP in her and fire it up next week its possible we can start testing the first week of November. Enjoy and I cannot wait to see the car in person and drive it.
