strandard cam location will need a small base circle cam , raised cam can run a standard base circle.

Do you already have a block?
If so what is it?

If not and you will be buying an aftermarket block, get a block with the cam tunnel raised like Dart's Iron Eagle.
In addition to the raised cam tunnel, this block also comes in either std deck height (9.025") or raised deck (9.325") version. Cubes up to 455.

Get a raised cam block and then go to a larger journal and base circle. Its worth it

If you run Eagle 6" Stroker rods and a 3.875 Stroke crankshaft it will clear in a standard location block with a standard base circle cam. I have one in my motor with a .635/.630 roller it all works fine.

Yep.... all depends on the rods and lobe lift really. I've done a bunch of cams for 3.875" strokes and the rods are usually the biggest issue with the clearance.

Run a 2" rod journal, give you a bit more clearance.
