I replaced my pin earlier this yr because it was starting to "u" (bend) in the middle. Looks like your breakaway cable is in need of replacement also.

You got seriously lucky! Maybe consider replacing that rusty locking hitch pin every 15 years or so?!?!?

gotcha-im still a firm believer in pins holding pins holding pins in

cant be too safe when dragging 8000 pounds down the road-remember the trailer is behind you-itll probobly hurt someone else before it gets you hurt-you dont want that to be on your shoulders

I HATE those locking ones. I never liked how mine fit & finally it fell off & my hitch fell out of the back of my truck. Im thankfull that it did not happen on the freeway & kill someone. It did cost me $300 to get a new hitch though. I will never buy another one of those locking ones.

I bought a "Normal" one that has a pin & drilled the hole out a tad bit to fit a padlock. it works bitchen & I KNOW that the stupid lock will not fall off of the pin.
